Veida simple shook her head in response to Mairjra's first statement. Her parents had attempted to match her with other prominent High Elves, and they had been rather attractive, but Veida saw that on the inside they were conceited and hungry for status. She frowned, shrugging off the memories. Veida crossed her legs under the table and sat back, looking about, making sure not to make eye contact with any of the pub's brute patrons. She worried the hem of her jacket as her gaze finally came to rest on the table before her.Â
At Mairjra's question, she looked up at him. "Yes... I'm guessing you are as well?"
