She looked down at her hands, and wished Shane was there to hold them. She thought back to her loneliest time...remembered the sadness she felt. The hopelessness, and despair. She never realized how nice it was to have someone around, the happiness she felt with Shane was unmatched in her lifetime...she never wanted to lose him.
She stretched her legs out in front of her on the windowsill and pushed the pane open a little more, so she could feel the cool breeze across her face.
