Rebeccah's hands came up to catch the shoes quickly, surprised at the flash of red flying through the air. She opened her mouth to retort but thought of her father's words and closed it instead, saying nothing as Jake picked her up and tossed her into the car. She didn't bother with her seatbelt, at first, as she bent and shoved the shoes on her feet. Then the teenager straightened and grabbed the belt, pulling it over her to hear the click. Her head turned as she looked out the dark window with icy eyes, feeling like everything in her world was slipping from her fingertips.

If Rebeccah was thinking this, she could only imagine the thoughts running through everyone's minds as Jake climbed into the driver's seat beside her and, seconds later, they pealed from the garage like a shot at an extremely illegal speed. She felt a vibration in her pocket and pulled her phone out, checking the screen for texts and missed calls. She noted one number and, with a glance at Jake, pressed the redial button lightly before holding the phone up to her ear. As she had expected, she got the person's voicemail.

" Hey, it's Beccah," She said lightly, careful to sound as normal as possible. " I saw you called and, well, I got caught sneaking out.." Rebeccah lied, " You know how my dad is though, I got my phone back pretty easily." Here, she let out a laugh feeling anything but happy. " Anyway, I'll call you back some other time."

Rebeccah sighed as she clicked the 'end' button and dropped her phone to her lap, " What a lie," She mumbled under her breath as she watched the lights as they sped down the road. " Liam would kill me if he ever caught me sneaking out.. Not give me my phone back.." This dragged her thoughts to the Great Aunt Marie threat, most likely her destination if she did something so stupid to anger her father.

Leaning her head against the window, Rebeccah closed her pale eyes and bit her lip. She was usually so much stronger, never needing to lean on anyone, but today had ruined all of that. Now, she wasn't feeling so strong as she fought against the tears. She kept her head turned so her face wasn't visible to her bodyguard. She didn't want anybody, least of all Jake O'Hara, to see her like this. Emotional and afraid.
