Annalise stroked her dog's thick, silky black coat, as he rubbed his head against her palm. She looked up, and stopped dead in her tracks. A boy stood not even ten feet in front of her. he had white hair, and dark eyes. It was him! She moved closer, and her toughts where confirmed. It was the face she saw every time she closed her eyes.

"Your the boy that saved me that night." she whispered, her gentle sky blue eyes watching him carefully. Her dog turned and jumped up on his hind legs, his huge paws on the boy's shoulders intimidatingly. "Bear! Be polite." she squeaked, and the dog jumped off his shoulders, pushing him back. "I'm sorry about him. He's a little overprotective."
Bear sat next to her, watching the boy warily. "I'm Annalise. I can't thank you enough for saving me that night." she spoke gently, her voice like the soft pealing of bells.
