Vivian watched as Thomas thrashed in the bed dread started to flow down her spine. "You had to ride into the boar on your death bed.." She sighed as the tray flew from her hands snapping her out of her morbid thoughts. She quickly went and got a boiling kettle from the kitchen as well as a few rags. She lay the warm cloth over his forhead, as Thomas began to talk wildly in his sleep.

She stood up and walked to the dressers to rewarm the cloth as he started to speak fighting whatever demon he was facing in his fever. She strained to hear him speak catching his name as he shouted it out the rag slipped from her hand. The Duke would pay for having him brought to him in this state it would be easy to turn him over. She looked back at him and her heart faltered. "Once he has broken this fever." She mused to herself before going back to his side and wiping off the new beads of sweat on his brow. She ran her finger along his brow convincing her self turning him in would be right and hating herself for being torn between doing it "It could just be the fever speaking for him if I am wrong it will be my neck would it not?" She took a shakey breath before going back to tending to him.
