Gwendolyn sat in the chair, nodding her thanks to Henry as he too sat, taking a glass of wine off the servant she smiled her thanks and brought the crystal glass to her lips sipping delicately as she regarded her cousins, before setting her goblet down carefully on the table in front as she smiled at them both. "Well it is good to see you Gwen," Henry said with a friendly smile. "I am sorry I missed your brothers coronation, how is he?" In honesty Gwen felt at laughing at the statement, if she didn’t know Henry like she did she might have mistaken the statement for sentiment yet she pursed her lips and look up at him through big blue eyes before smiling with a smallnod.
“You as well Henry” she replied “He’s very well, naturally fitting in well to his new role as King” she spoke choosing her words carefully as she reached for her glass, quickly stopping to look up at Henry to see if her words had any effect on her cousin, a smile slowly creeping upon her face “we are all very proud…now tell me, are you feeling any better? I heard you were of ill health?” she asked sitting back, sipping on her wine as her gaze remained fixed on Henry “I do hope it wasn’t anything too serious” she smirked knowing that the excuse was nothing more than a lie so he wouldn’t have to attend the coronation.
