This was getting to be to much for Thomas. he was certainly attracted to this girl and that was unacceptable, he loved Gwen! The name Black Boar meant nothing to him, he had only been in the Reach once, and that was years ago and with the King so such a small inn woulnd't have mattered to him. He watched her leave, his jaw tightening as her hips swayed and he cursed himself for a weak fool.

With her smile in mind he climbed from the bed, shedding his blankets to risk a quick glimpse in the mirror. He was no doubt somewhat ragged looking, a weeks worth of stuble on his chin. For a moment he wondered if such a disguise would be enough but then, he knew, it wouldn't. He stepped into the bath, trying not to flinch as he lowered himself into the steaming water.

He lay in the water until it began to cool, quickly washing himself and climbing from the tub. He dried himself off and then pulled on his partially damp clothes, sitting before the fire to preserve the heat of the bath, wondering his next move.
