Despair saw through this apparent ruse in an instant. No mere messenger would have the power and skill to see through her innumerable illusory barriers and to reach the flying castle before she so much as had time to react, nor would such a messenger have "no interest" in the pillars. Almost all the nations of Myrn sought the fabled pillars, each hoping to be the first to find them and gain ultimate power. The idea that a messenger of royalty would have no concern for such things was simply preposterous, when by so much as reporting his discovery of a pillar, he could doubtless gain limitless riches and power, or, since he clearly had magical talent, could simply claim the discovery for himself and gain independence, perhaps become a king in his own right? The idea that a Human existed with such enormous latent potential and not a touch of greed was impossible to honestly consider.

"Oh? I see. I am Yuki Cross, magical researcher and independent adventurer into the secrets of this pillar. While I extend my hospitality to you, I must warn you that this castle - a Treasure of the Unrestricted Magic rumored to have been given to our ancestors - is very ill furnished for housing guests, and the aura of the pillar is difficult to bear, at times, especially for those strong in magic. Oh, forgive me for making assumptions, but since you somehow managed to appear in my courtyard five miles in the air, I assume you do have at least some talent for the Arts. In any case, if you feel yourself capable of bearing the hardships of staying in this place, then please, come in." Turning him away would only arouse his suspicions - if the fact that her castle was heavily protected by magical barriers and wards had not already - and she needed to get an alibi. The words of a messenger could have the armies of the world amassing to combat her, even if her true plans were not known. Thus, the only option was to play along, for now.
