"Well... Do you ever think about the outside world? I mean like outside of this lab?" Subject 25 asked Alice after laughing at Alice's misfortune. This was a difficult question for Alice. Except for the memory of the house fire to keep her from peacefully sleeping every night, she knew absolutely nothing about the outside world because of her amnesia. Alice sat on the question for a few seconds, trying to draw out any forgotten memories that were hanging around. "Hm... I've never really thought about it before now, actually... What's it look like out there, anyway?" Alice asked, curious and hopeful that even the memory of what the outside world looks like could bring back a few of her lost memories. Alice finished up any food she had left and pocketed the battery for later while leaning on the Grimoire with her elbows. It would suck to have a thousand page book glued to her arms, Alice had to admit, but hopefully that wouldn't happen.
