Shortly after his uncle left, a camp counselor found him. He listened to the guy introduce himself and list out instructions: follow him, sign stuff, get a bracelet, and started after the guy when he left. The girl with the car followed along, and she smiled at him. He flashed a grin back. Maybe this camp would be better than he anticipated...

Yet another girl joined them. She looked gorgeous: luscious blonde locks, great build. This camp was really looking better. She introduced herself. Laylani....seemed Hawaiian. Zephyr briefly wondered if she could fight well and would appreciate the nickname of "Punch." The other girl could be Judy. He smiled at the thought.

As he followed the camp counselor (Athest, was it? Weird name. Almost like atheist mispronounced) he saw his uncle catch up to him. He introduced himself to Athest as "Avery" and shook his hand. Zephyr smirked. Avery, Alex, once it was Anthony...so long as it was an A name, his uncle always picked it. Avery and Alex were his favorite. Zephyr often wondered why his uncle didn't just go by his real name. Occasionally Zephyr would go by "Jeff" or "Jefferson" but more often than not, he'd use his real name or abbreviate it to "Zeph". Perhaps "Agile" (that's uh-GEEL, thank you) was just too strange a name. Or perhaps he was sick and tired of people pronouncing it a-JILE. At least he admitted he was his uncle.

After the pleasantries and reassurances by the camp counselor, Agile took Zeph aside briefly. He knelt his head close to his ear and said too softly for human ears: "Are you sure you'll be all right?"

Zeph replied cheekily: "You should have thought about that before you sent me off here."

"I'm being serious."

One look at his uncle's suddenly black eyes confirmed that fact. Zeph nodded.

"Yeah, sure. I'll be fine. No need to worry about me. I'm always fine." He smiled widely to prove it and stuck out his tongue. He used to do that all the time when he was younger.

Agile seemed satisfied. He gave Zeph an awkward hug and patted him on the shoulder. "Don't get into any trouble. If you need me, my phone is always on."

"Got it. You gonna be able to sleep by yourself tonight, Uncle A?"

"Just don't get into any trouble."

Zeph gave a two-fingered salute, and his uncle gave a final nod before walking back towards the motorbike. Zeph watched him walk a few steps, then turned around and chased after the departing group.
