~The Nerd~
Aria blushed as Arrow smiled at her...well it seemed to be directed at her anyway. She smiled back softly but she was sure he didn't see it, he looked extremely focused.
Suddenly Thomas' girlfriend burst through the doors and looked around frantically. "OH THANK GOD" she said, seeing Aria's face. "I can hear movement in the apartment but your brother isn't answering the door. I have a strong feeling that something is wrong, PLEASE come with me" Aria's eyes widened. Thomas always left the door unlocked for Mia, always. They were the type of couple that got into fights but neither could stay mad at each other. 'He seemed fine this morning' she thought quickly.
Aria didn't wait for her bill she just slapped a 20 on the counter and said thank you quickly. "He didn't say anything either" she asked as she left with Mia. It only took a few minutes to get back to the apartment. Aria unlocked the door and ran in, throwing her keys and bag on the floor. "THOMAS?!" she yelled, even though the apartment was quite small. She heard the shower running and she knew something was wrong. 'He told me he was going to take a shower before I left this morning...that was 3 hours ago' she thought. The bathroom door was locked as well but Aria knew how to pick the lock. When she entered the bathroom she saw her brother lying on the floor unconscious with a small pool of blood by his head.
Aria rushed to his side and turned to see his shocked girlfriend standing in the doorway. "CALL AN AMBULANCE!" She turned the water off and threw a towel over her brother. 15 minutes later paramedics were pounding on the door and Mia let them in. Aria let Mia get in the ambulance with him, and Aria ran back up to the apartment to grab her keys. In minutes she was at the hospital as well, asking where her brother was. They directed her to trauma room and thats when she started crying. She saw the gash on his forehead and the large purplish bruise starting to form around it. The doctors pushed her and Mia out of the room and told them to wait and that they'd update them soon.
