The Tomboy


Kalina woke up, groaning a bit as the light filtered through the window and into her eyes. Glancing over at her alarm clock (that she forgot to set), Kalina jumped out of bed. 'I'm late! Again!' Quickly getting dressed, putting her hair up, and running down the stairs, Kalina left her house without even saying goodbye to anyone. She put on her favourite hat as she sprinted passed people. She stopped, however, when she noticed a new café. 'Was this here yesterday?' She could be a couple minutes late to the shop...

Kalina opened the door, taking a look around. Other customers were already gathering. There were sections for everyone, "Singles", "Families", and "Couples". Since Kalina was single, she walked over to a seat in that section and sat. It was awkward being in here, and normally she wouldn't go to a place like this. But, life's too short to stick to the same routine...right?
