“I don't know why I know these things...I just...do, I guess.” I look at your back and feel the strong impulse to lay a hand on it and rub it gently. The impulse is so powerful that it rolls off of my body like a wave of energy and slides across the rooftop like a determined snake but I don't even notice it even as it rolls around your feet and gathers like a little pool of water. I reposition my stance as my knee starts to ache a little and I let my eyes travel up and down your amazing figure, letting my eyes gorge on every single detail: the way that your breaths are exactly 5.67 seconds from inhalation to exhale to the way the fabric of your coat weaves around other strands like a never ending maze that only leads to more mazes. Then I let my gaze meander to your white hair, watching it flow in the wind slightly as the separate strands dance in the wind like the dead leaves on the sidewalk. I allow my eyes to investigate further as I watch your hands. You play with you fingers. The way your snow white fingers simply dance around one another is like two birds gracefully dancing in the wind on a bright summer day. I let my eyes wander down to your legs...white and muscular. Probably from all the jumping and acrobatics, I think to myself. I can see the muscles rippling with you just simply standing there, they are at work holding you up. After my eyes are done feasting on your sight I let them change back to their original field of vision and blink as they augment the rest of the world around me. I still don't see the pool of the feeling, that I want to just hold you close to me and protect you, that has gathered close to your legs like a small puppy during the winter snuggling your legs for warmth and comfort.
