Alex returned the bag to his pocket, she had drifted into sleep, and the poison was going slower now. With Elle asleep she was using less of her body's resources , allowing it to focus on fighting the spread. Along with the anti venom in the powder, it was useful for many things, but was temporary. Now Alex had to haul them both too the safe house. He managed to lift Elle onto his shoulders and began moving again. It was harder but he managed to get off the roof and now moved along the back alleys. Almost there... Just a little further and...Alex encountered the safe house door, he was tired. Having carried her for almost an hour. Luckily his sister hadn't made another appearance, her tracker didn't move fast enough. No doubt someone would die for the failure.

Kicking open the door he layed Elle down on the pile of hay and dragged his chest over, quickly opening it and pulling out vials. He began taking different vials, all filled with colorful and exotic liquids and pouring drops of them into a small cup. He had collected the mix of liquids from his travails, always finding some exotic concoction that he liked. It was his sister that forced him into Alchemy, even as kids she urged him to study it. Saying that it would be useful one day. Since then it had become a sort of hobby, an incredibly useful hobby when his sister started hunting him. He had managed to create a cure for her poison, it had saved him on many occasions. It didn't work on everyone though. Often he had to reformulate the cure to work on someone new, he wouldn't have the time now. He would have to hope that what worked on him would work on her, though it was unlikely.

Pulling out a small needle he poured a drop from the cup on it. Then, starting a small fire in what seemed to be a fire place, he burned the needle in the hot coals, effectively lacing the needle with the liquid. Now came the worst part, walking back over to Elle he opened her eye, and stuck the needle into the pupil gently, holding it there just long enough to ensure the cure had been released. Taking the needle out he sat down and waited, if it worked she would suffer minor discomfort in her eye, but it would be well worth seeing the light of day again.
