Max stood there, as everyone in the center of Aquios, the Capital of Aqauria, were in panic. Mere minutes ago he'd been fighting some Daemon on Diablo..he was one of the best Beta Testers..one who'd been so skilled he won the in-game contest of the Beta Testers where he'd been granted a title for his character Jessica. "Nasheem Ginomai Mega Lalaipsi" they called her. It was Hebrew and referred to his use of Water, Wind and Lightning spells. "Storm Magic" he liked to call it. But then he'd been forcibly spawned to the place he'd started his game at...Aquaria. It was his favorite place in the retro game Star Ocean III, which he'd bought when they first announced Star Ocean Online was in development. He'd been a longtime subscriber to the online magazine, being a gamer himself, and was randomly selected among the subscribers to participate in the Beta, which thrilled him even further! The game had gone worldwide after the Beta Ended. Now a mere 7 days after the worldwide release and he was in Aquaria, unable to log out. Weirder than that, he could FEEL. The video game hadn't been able to do that before. Sure he could SEE the wind. It was virtual reality so it was like seeing out of his own characters eyes..but he could feel the gentle wind breeze go by.


He could feel the wall next to him, like as if he it...real. That was crazy talk, but it was true. The world he'd always found so beautiful had become as if..real. Still, it could be worse. He has a pretty sexy body. He looked into the reflection the glass window of a store and saw the sexy female body of his character. He was stuck in level 1 gear and had a level 1 sword now but he still looked good as Jessica. What the hell was he doing? He shook his head. 'I must be completely daft to be thinking about my appearance right now.' or maybe he was just trying to figure out how to handle the fact he may never leave this world again.


All the people were now on Elicoor II, probably. Likely half of them in Aquaria somewhere and half in Airyglyph somewhere. That's where people started out the game after leaving the Main Hub, was either Aquaria or Airyglpyh. Going to other places, including Earth, came after. Maybe there might be a few people in the Main Hub since the Main Hub was really just for character customization and early items. All the same, in the past half hour since he'd spawned there, people were already panicking all around him. Screaming about how they couldn't log out. He was in so much shock about all that was going on around him..he was silent for a change. Trying to let it all sink in. What was he going to do now?
