Blue
Blue whimpered softly as the snow beat against her face, sending tiny pinpricks of pain into her core. She was still young, and her fur was still that of a young cub. Her blue eyes were glazed with annoyance and confusion. They had been traveling for days now, and they still hadn't gotten across the mountion, in fact they were only cutting through the snow atop the mighty mountions. She didn't know which mountions, only that whatever it's name was, it probably had something to do with snow.
"Mother!" One of her other adopted brothers howled out as he fell into a snow drift near a poor excuse of a tree. Blue was suprised anything could even survive the vicious winds, and the continous fall of snow. She slowed long enough to watch Balian, one of the older Alva's leave the long line of wolves to pick the young pup up by his scruff. The young pup was called Ragnar, and had been born the runt of the litter, but that hadn't seemed to have stopped him from trying to fight with other wolves. When he was only days old, he had actually crawled out of the den when their babysitters was asleep and slipped into Raccon territory. Poor pup had been attacked, but had been saved before the angry Raccoon could have finished him off. Poor thing had only survived with a messed up face. His ears were crooked, falling sideways, not standing straight up, and his top lip was uneven with no teeth on his right side of his mouth.
Balien carried the cub back to the line, but seemed to think it was useless to let the wolf down because he kept the cub hanging in his jaws. Blue shook her head before snorting and setting her head down to keep walking. It seemed like hours before the whole pack stopped to set up camp for the night. Letting out a sigh of relief, Blue was about to turn around before a wolf picked her up by the scuff. "Hey! Put me down!" Blue howled at her carrier, only to stop from being dropped. "Would you be quiet, you badgerhead." Shira one of the rare white Alvas grinned down at her adopted pup. "I'm a wolf, and an Alva not a badg-" Her words were cut off as a loud high pitched howl filled the air, signaling the others of attack...
A few hours later...
Blue whimpered, "Shira? Ragnar?" She lifted her head out of the patch of snow Shira had hidden her in. There was no one as far as she could see. The storm was still above, and the winds were still whipping through the air. "Shira?!" She howled out, her ears layed back, and her tails between her legs as she gingerly took a step forward into the wind. Fear of being the only one left, gave her the courage to take a few more steps into the hail. "Anyone?" She whispered out before stopping when she heard a noise. She perked her ears, and stood stock still, trying to hear the... Blue gulped, as the sound of fighting wolves entered her ears.
Blue whipped around, and yelped as she lost her footing in the snow. She fell and slid, beginning to roll down the hill. Blue closed her eyes and suddenly got the image of herself falling off the top of the mountion. Panic gripped her as she tried to get a grip, so as to now fall of the side of the mountion. She rolled to stop at the sudden change in weather. Opening her eyes, Blue began to let out a series of cries for help. She didn't dare look at her bottom, thinking that she must have lost her body in the snow fall. Finally, Blue opened her eyes and gigled with relief at the fact that she still had herself. Stepping up she looked around. Blue yelped when she saw a large white firgure of a wolf standing above her. The cold unforgiving eyes sent her to her feet as she tried to run the other direction. A paw landed on her back, and pushed her into the snow, keeping her from moving. Blue tried to be feirce, as she growled and showed her tiny little teeth at the stranger. He didn't show expression at the notion. He flipped her over and bit into her scruff, and walked off with her into the snow.
