Just as Demi was heading towards her next class, a familiar grip held her arm and soon she realized she was linked arm in arm with her best friend. "Soo anyway," Dehlilah began. Demi wasn't sure if her best friend was feeling guilty for ditching her but she was glad the girl made time for her. "Whats up with you and the new guy, what happened to your no boy's rule?"

She faked a gasped but then rolled her eyes and said, "No boys? Who made that rule?" She giggled and continued, "Besides I was just being nice to the new guy. He was kind of cute but when I realized that he'd prefer hanging out with the other girls I kind of got tired of him." She then shrugged.

"Are you inlove?" Demi heard one of the craziest things she has heard from Dee.

"What?" Her eyes grew rounder and bigger, "No!" She frowned and continued, "Dee! Of all people, you should know I don't fall in love that easily. That is just so wrong." She pointed out and started arranging her things again.

"Really, I'm not some stupid girl who falls in love with any guy who pass by. I'm not like you Dee, I'm- Oh my god! I'm sorry! I didn't mean it that way!" Just as soon as she realized her words, it was too late. Demi had blurted words that could have hurt anyone's feelings. "I am soooo sorry. I didn't mean it- I- I was just-" She tried to clean up her mess but she kept on stuttering. She wanted to punch herself in the face. She knew how sensitive Dehlilah could be when it comes to her relationships.

Demi might just be losing her best friend.
