Corbin turned around, his brow arched. As soon as he saw Theresea in that dress, his heart beat a little faster. "You look stunning, if you don't mind me saying". He held out his arm for her to take, "If you're all done, we can go. I suspect the guests are arriving at this very second". He lead her down the halls until they reached the staircase. Once at the very top, he exhaled slowly and made his way down them, one hand clutching onto the railing for support whilst the other was one Theresea. He'd never much liked stairs.

His foot didn't even reach the floor before the kids of the guests grabbed onto his legs. Corbin bent down and ruffled their hair before shaking them off and walking forward. The kids stood up and ran off. "Well, this is it. Not much to do, I suppose, but I guess it's better knowing you're here to ease my boredom" he said with a smug smirk, "By the way, these people don't really like non-rich people, so just act like you were born into an amazingly wealthy family and you'll get on just fine".

Just then Julius walked up to them, his arm wrapped around Tania's. Corbin's eyes narrowed slightly as he came to the realisation that Tania was Julius' new bride-to-be. Tania shot Corbin an apologetic look before Julius spoke. "I assume you've met Tania", he wasn't really asking a question but Corbin answered anyway, "I have" he muttered bluntly. "I'm not your child" Corbin spat, then tightened his grip on Theresea and walked out the front door. He sat on the stone steps and huffed, "Tania, of all people... I swear, that man'll be dead before his next birthday if he's not careful". He looked over at Theresea, deciding that he'd best change the subject so that he didn't get angry around her. "Can I-.. Can I come back with you to Parkwood when you go?" he asked, his voice as low as a whisper.
