There was constant movement in this house. It was something she would adjust to, she was sure. But her lack of sleep and generally anxiety about being around so many people--though they were her friends--was rattling her brain. Jordyn was just trying to keep up as people came and went, trying to pretend she was just in the chatroom. Username has gone offline. Username is now online. Yeah. It was easier that way. Finally, she squeezed her way out of the kitchen, grabbing her myriad of bags and things to take upstairs. She struggled with her bags as she clumped and banged up the stairs, making quite a bit of noise and dropping things on the way. Jordyn disregarded it though, only going back to retrieve things after she made it to the top of the stairs. It wasn't a big deal, nothing was broken or lost for the most part. There were a few bedrooms scattered about, and she had to pick one.

Jordyn paced for a bit, before deciding on one of them, finding that it was already partially occupied. it would do. She would have a roommate. That worked with her. Maybe two roommates. Would she be okay living in the same room as two other females? Sure. It would be like having a sibling. Or two. Or twelve. She grinned a little, setting her bags down and starting to unpack. Most of the stuff she unpacked were the basics, her laptop, a few pillows she had dragged there from home, and the picture frame with her family photo in it. Jordyn tucked the photo frame under the pillow, setting her laptop on the bed and pursing her lips a little. There was noone for her to get online and rant about her new place with. They were all here.

It was supposed to be amazing, why was she being so awkward? Jordyn sighed and knelt down to unzip one of her bags, reaching through and finding a sweater. This city was freezing. Colder than home, even. She slid the sweater on, wrapping her arms around herself for a moment before hopping up onto the bed and opening her computer. It was just a heavily ingrained habit to check the chat, even though she had acknowledged that they were all going to be here. Nobody was online. Of course not. She sighed and shut the computer down, picking nervously at the edge of her dress. Either way. She started to explore her shared room. The one side was heavily lived in, covered in various posters. The more she looked around, and the more she speculated, she figured it must've been Carsin's room. Being that she was one of the very few to already be set up--and the fact that it reflected her behavior, it made sense. Jordyn didn't mind it. She smiled crookedly to herself, pleased with her choice of roommates. Blitz--Carsin--whatever, she would get used to real names eventually--was always cool on chat. She seemed to be the same in person, albit a little tired (weren't they all, though? Who did mornings?)

"Blitz, you're gonna have to put up with me now," Jordyn teased as she left the room. She called out, because she knew that she was somewhere upstairs, but not quite sure where, considering she wasn't in their now shared bedroom. Transitioning from using nicknames to real names was going to be trouble, but she would get over it. Not like Jordyn minded whether others used her nickname or real name, she answered to either one. She just tried to respect everyone elses' wishes. Whatever they were. Most of them seemed just happy to be out of an oppressive environment. She paused there for a moment, then jogged down the stairs. The kitchen was too crowded for her, so she made her way to the living room, curling up on the couch with a book and her notebook. She wasn't be totally antisocial, but she didn't need to be in the center of the conversations, either. She was available enough if anyone needed her (not that such a situation was likely, considering everyone arriving and the chaos of getting settled.) But it was well enough that way.
