Isis wasn't able to find either Ryker or Shasta and went back to the den quickly, finding Ryker there. She called for Leon first, but when he didn't seem to be nearby, figured he had left. Maybe he heard Akitla after all. Then, the others must've found her. She wondered if she ought to go back and help. She had promised, after all... but if Leon had left, he'd probably brought someone with him-- for certain he would have everything under control. She supposed if she just waited outside for him to return and ascertained with her own eyes that Akitla was alright, she'd be fine. She was pretty tired from running around already.

Relaxing, Isis turned her attention to Ryker briefly. She wasn't sure how he viewed her because they barely spoke to one another. If I wasn't always off exploring, I guess we might talk a little more. She thought, though she doubted this. It wasn't like they had much to talk about in the first place.

In any case, currently Ryker was... smiling to himself, it seemed. She took up a post a little ways away from him. He might've been deep in thought and she didn't feel like saying anything to draw attention to herself. Instead, she stared out at the trees. She really wished she could just go out and explore. The other wolves in the pack were great, but she didn't feel very much like a part of the pack, usually. She did report in when the pack was supposed to of course, but then she'd usually go exploring again. She had felt a sort of kinship with Shasta because of it-- Isis thought Shasta had the same kind of disconnect with the pack that she did. Then again, she never spoke to Shasta either, so she couldn't be sure.

She could hear Daniel, her fellow scout, in the den. He was probably with Tane and the pups... Isis was always pretty bad with the pups, she didn't tell stories or jokes as well as Daniel or the Omegas. She sighed to herself and stared into the sky. I want to go out and find something to investigate, She thought. Hurry back, Leon... I want this meeting to be over with and I want Akitla to be safe.
