Akitla's response was as flippant as Isis expected. She had to admit, she liked that about the younger hunter. She smiled, about to respond, when she heard someone coming up near her. She stiffened slightly, but relaxed when she felt a presence at her left side. She looked up from Akitla, surprised when Ryker kneeled next to her. He placed a kit near her leg.

Ryker...? Isis wondered. What is he--

"There's an ice pack, some bandages, and a splint kit." He said. "I would start with the splint kit." She wasn't sure what he was talking about for a minute, then realized that he was talking about the kit he'd given her.

It was a kind gesture and Isis was thankful. But she was sure she was wide-eyed. She couldn't recall ever speaking to Ryker-- or even being this close. She wasn't sure what she was surprised about the most, but she tamed her expression quickly, smiling at him before glancing towards Akitla.

"...And this is for you." She heard him say. Akitla's eyes lit up and Isis turned to see Ryker was holding out a flask.

"My hero." Akitla said wryly, reaching for the flask. Amused, Isis watched Akitla struggle to open it and then drink what seemed like half of the contents. If she's going to have her arm set, might as well do it drunk. Isis thought. "Also do me one more favor before we do this," Akitla was slurring a little. Isis nodded. "Get Alex's ass over here so I can crush his freakin hand while we do this."

Isis couldn't help but laugh then. "...Alright." She agreed warmly. "...Ryker." She addressed the man with her, pausing when his eyes landed on her. She suddenly felt a bit self-conscious. Ah... it's been some time since... I saw him this way. She thought, unsure of when last she saw him as a human. ...He's... Realizing that she was staring, she cleared her throat and continued, "...Do you mind going to get Alex? I'll wait here for you...with Akitla."
