Ryker watched in a slight panic as Akitla gulped down half of his bourbon. He probably should have given her the morphine he had in the emergency box, but in a split second decision he felt she needed to felt the pain of disobedience. Still, the flask of bourbon was one of the last thing he had that was connected to his brother, besides the gun and scars.

"Get Alex's ass over here so I can crush his freakin hand while we do this." The hunter said.

Ryker ignored her request and began digging in the medical kit for bandages and ointment. It wasn't until he heard Isis speak that he stopped what he was doing and looked up.

"...Do you mind going to get Alex? I'll wait here for you...with Akitla." Isis said.

Ryker paused a moment, soaking in her words, but now was not the time to be distracted, "We don't have time," he told them "we need to set the broken bone before your body runs out of adrenaline. The pain will only get worse."

Ryker has seen stronger wolves than Akitla pass out from such pain, but maybe he was misjudging the hunter. He wondered how much pain it would take for her to pass out.

Before any disagreement come form the wounded Akitla, Ryker was bumped by an unknown force. It was Alex, as he quickly began poking, probing, and wiggling her arms. Idiot. But he was glad he didn't have to leave Isis, and Akitla, to go fetch him.
