Sumara released the little seed and turned back to her tree perch, where she gently placed the shaking Pokemon in her lap. All three of the other Pokemon stood around and watched. "Aw, you poor thing..." She cooed softly, running a hand over an uninjured part of shell.

"Let's get you fixed up." With one well aimed potion spray, the little seed felt better and actually hopped off of her lap to nuzzle the Bulbasaur at Sumara's feet. "There! We're all friends now!" She smiled before standing back up and wiping any of the tree bark off of her. She tossed Martin back his Pokeballs and watched the Pokemon interact with a gentle smile.

Jace, who had finally pried Styx off of his midsection and had him sitting on his shoulder, looked up at Brigson's sudden question. "Well, we decided to split the test into three parts, the three most common training methods. A hands off approach, where the Pokemon and trainer have a weak emotional bond, a semi-hands on, a bit stronger emotional bond, and finally, a completely hands on, where the emotional bond is the strongest." Jace rubbed on finger against Styx's cheek and smiled some before turning back to the other male, face blank.

"So far, we've learned that weak emotional bonds can prevent certain Pokemon from evolving, such as Eevees into Umberons and Espeons. Also, the more hands on you are, the more likely you'll have a loyal partner. The test is still on going however, so we have very little data to work on."
