Daniel was about to congratulate her when Delryn went off, making a lot of accusations, as he made to Salute and turned to walk away Daniel’s hand grabbed his shoulder, his eyes hidden by his shaggy hair, “Don’t you think that anyone the General selects would know that?” he asked before releasing him and letting him walk away. He looked up to Ethelyn, a smile again on his face, “Ah, don’t worry about him, we had a rough deployment not long ago, I think he and the Colonel are both still shaking from it…” hell, I’m not really okay myself, but facades are required attire at this fucking school.

“Anyway, when we get out there I’ll split up the units since the Captain and Colonel are currently MIA… and don’t forget to report to the Colonel if anything in that letter is wrong.” He said as he gave her a light pat on the side of her arm and headed off as well, making a point to apologize to Delryn for his actions. He didn’t disagree with Delryn, but someone had to ensure her moral stayed up, she was going to need it in the coming mission.
