-Jocelyn Farnir-

It was still hot, stuffy, and humid, even in the airport. I live in steriotypical California. Nice and warm most of the year, white sanded beaches, nice blue water. Too bad I was saying bye to it. A small sigh escaped my lips before I could stop it. My dad's light green eyes settled on me. "Whats wrong sweety? You should by happy. You go to a great school. Not like the school I went to. Mine was a piece of shit," He said with a smile. I was to board my plane in five minutes.
"I know, but I'm going to miss you," I replied sighing again, and giving a slight pout.
He laughed heartily, "Well, I miss you all the time. Its too bad that its so far away..." He sighed as well.
Then the kind voice of the lady at the desk rang over the crowd, telling that my plane was to be boarded now. I looked at my dad and gave him a huge hug, then pulled back to kiss him. "Now. You be a good girl," My dad said pointing his finger sarcasticly at me.
"Yes daddy," I giggled like a little girl. "Bye. I'll call you when I get there!" I yelled as I began walking away. My luggage was already on my plane, as well as my acustic guitar and my electric one. I had my backpack with me, full of my gadgets and books, as well as my ipod with all the songs I want.
Before I got far, I heard my dad yell from across the room. "Jocelyn! Catch!" He threw something small at me. I jumped up and caught it in the air. Looking at it, I saw it was my wallet.
"You bastard!" I yelled back with a smile and he waved as I got on my plane.

I sat in the back of my cab, my elbow propped up on the edge of the window, my face blank. The plane ride was grueling. I hated long trips like that because I can never fall asleep in a plane. So I was pretty tired. My eyes didn't seem to have their usual happy gleam to them.
We pulled up to the lot of the school and my jaw dropped. The place was nice. Wonderful surroundings, beautiful building. I payed the driver and got out of the car to grab my luggage. My suitcase, backpack, and fat guitar case, specially made to hold two different types of guitars. I walked to the building, and groaned at all the people. "I really dont feel like going through all those girls," I muttered. Using my mega intellegence (what she calls it. Not really true.), I located an area where I can skirt around all the peope, and squeeze inside. So I did just that.
The inside of the building was just as magnifigant as the outside. I immediatly put that uber friendly smile on my face, and started saying hi to people every where. "Just cause its a new place doesn't mean I can't make an impression," I said under my breath. I sat watching more people enter, and waving and saying hi as if they were old friends I hadn't seen in a while.
