Alan looked at what the fire light illuminated as he felt...sick. "...Shit..." he muttered it was all he could muster as he tried not to gag from the smell. He tried to look away, but...he couldn't everywhere he looked was something else...something that was straight out of nightmares. He saw the dead animals as he closed his eyes and drew a shaky breath. He heard the Scratching noise as he turned his head to it squinting his eyes to make out a dim outline. Something about it wasn't...right. He could get that much. He didn't want to stay here for long...not in whatever this place was. He felt an arm wrap around him as he nodded in thanks. "Did...not expect this...don't think I ever would expect whatever this is." he admitted as he waved a hand in front of his face. "Erm...don't think I want anything from this room...think this is all the basement or is there a door somewhere else...hopefully one that doesn't lead to a room like this...." he muttered trying to remain in high spirits.
