Scarlett could tell that she was beginning to get to Roman, but knowing a properly trained agent, she also knew that he wouldn’t lose it. Scarlett’s attitude has always been something that the Agency has disapproved of, –and has even tried to rid of- but through past missions, she was able to prove that she was trusting and reliable when it came down to it; the only problem was proving that to another agent, something that Scarlett didn’t really care for, since pushing buttons was what she was best at, and even enjoyed.

As expected, the main door opened. Still no Madison. Instead, another man walked in who Scarlett recognized as Jason. Later? What does he think this hour was for? Surely not for socializing with your previous partner. Scarlett thought to herself and simply rolled her eyes before formally meeting Jason with a handshake. Scarlett nodded but didn’t say a word. She couldn’t help but notice the looks exchanged between the two men, and with that, she smirked. Where was her real accomplice whom she was sure she could trust?

Just at that thought, the door swung open once again, and this time it really was Madison. “Finally!” Scarlett was tempted to glare but then saw the box of cupcakes in her friend’s hands. It was a move Scarlett would always do whenever the roles were reversed and it was Madison who was angry- and it turns out the same moved tended to appease Scarlett, as well. With a grin, Scarlett helped herself to one of the cupcakes. Fuck this, if Roman’s not going to try, I’m not going to try. She thought again before starting on the icing of the cupcake.
