Roman held back a scoff as Scarlett wheeled around and left. "I only know what you've showed me and so far you don't seem like a fucking teddy bear." He muttered under his breath when the door closed. He sighed and slumped onto the swirling chair by the table. He was already stressing and they haven't even gotten on the plane yet. He glanced at the wall clock, watching the seconds tick by in slow motion. Time wasn't on his side. He wanted to go to the airport, settle into the large house and get this damn mission over with.
To say that Roman was annoyed was an understatement. To say that he didn't feel the urge to get up and go back to the comfort of his apartment would be a lie. Misery was definitely in his future. He looked up at the ceiling, staring at the tiles with a no emotion on his handsome face.
"Miss. Young," he said, his deep voice expressing his dismay slightly. "When are we boarding the plane?" Roman already knew, seeing as his memory was one of his weapons, but he had to hear someone else say it. Maybe if someone said then time would move faster. God, please give me strength.
