Reevis's eyes widened slightly as he felt the weight of the coins when he received his bag. When he had become a paladin, he had quickly learned that the moniker of his order as poor knights of Kha'nashi was not an exaggeration. He followed the others out of the keep and to the marketplace, pausing at a few stalls to purchase food and waterskins for the road. After that, Reevis broke off from the group and made his way towards the local temple to Kha'nashi. He took a handful of coins from the bag, dropping them in a donation box as he approached the altar. The now much lighter bag of coins was stuffed back into his pack.

Removing his helmet and cradling it under his arm, Reevis muttered a quick prayer. "Lord of the Sun, grant us strength and determination in this endeavor, that we may strive to do your work and spread your light." The warm, confident feeling Reevis felt in his heart was all the reassurance he needed. He pulled his helmet back on and went to the courtyard to wait for the rest of the group to assemble.
