Maya

A noise woke her, a very loud noise as if something huge fell on the floor. Maya sat up a somewhat startled by the sound and rubbed bleary eyes, that then looked around the room to see a dark spot on the floor and something that glinted.

“Aye dios mío” she said through gritted teeth, upon realizing the dark spot on the floor was Seagus. Jumping out of bed Maya crouched down next to the large and burnt frame of Seagus, turning him on his back Maya laid his head on her lap patting his cheek to see if he was awake, no response. She then realized what it was in Seagus’s hand a portable flashdrive. “Idiota esto podría no esperar” an irritated smile on her face.
Maya took the flash drive from his hand leaving it on the floor next to the post on her bed. Wrapping both arms around his chest Maya heaved him over her back, his head rested on her shoulder. “maldito te Seagus que es realmente fuertes, sabes más me debes para esto” she growled, shifting his weight more evenly on her back, even for Maya who was pretty strong had trouble carrying him to the nurse office.

Startling the nurse at her sudden appearance at the door, who then prepared a bed and helped Maya set Seagus on a bed. The nurse then ripped his shirt off an –o took the shape of her lips upon seeing the burnt skin but also from not expecting such a nice body on a young man. The two quickly got to work applying lotion to his body after they were done the nurse left for the night but hesitated to leave Maya in the room alone with Seagus.

After convincing the nurse they weren’t going to do anything inappropriate in her absence Maya took a pillow and blanket and made herself comfortable on the next bed, for a while Maya kept an eye on Seagus watching the rise and fall of his chest. Maya didn’t know if it was the soothing rhythm of his breathing or from exhaustion from having carried Seagus all the way to the nurse but Maya fell asleep again.
