ThemeDamien was at least a couple hundred feet from the Guild, which was good. He could relax and actually read over the quest without anyone bothering him, what was that feeling called? Peace? No, Tranquility...it was tranquil. He took the old fragile piece of paper out of his pocket and gently folded it out in front of him, a rogue mage that when fought could apparently
wipe your memories clean. This was exactly what he was looking for, however a direct approach would be next to pointless as two Memory-Make mages fighting is primarily based on illusionary tactics.
The quest would give you 150,000
and whatever else the mage has on him...so little for an S-Class, they are withholding information, extremely vital information. The quest giver's name was familiar, after closer inspection it hit Damien, he runs a tavern not too far from the base, an old friend of Kai's. Damien looked around, and when he was sure no one else was looking he swallowed the quest whole as he had memorized the information completely.
He headed off towards the Tavern with light-interrogation in mind.
He arrived at the tavern, it was old and the smell of alchohol could be smelt from outside the door, yells of drunken men and laughter could be heard inside, a typical tavern Damien thought...a typical tavern. He went for the doorknob but realized that his entrance should be grand, especially considering he is an S-Class mage. He chuckled and kicked the door down, sending it flying into the bar room, mages ducked in fear of having their head being removed from their head due to the high speed of the door.
Damien strutted into the room as if he was a king of some sort. He spun around and sat on the bar stool. The barkeep grinned and leaned in and whispered into Damien's ear.
"What's with the flashy entrance? Also why the hell are you here in the first place?"Damien stole a mug from a man sitting next to him and swallowed the beverage whole before sliding the cup back to the man. "Thanks." Damien licked his lips and glared at the barkeep. "David...right? I'm here on buisiness, you put a quest up in our base...and I accepted it...I know your holding some information in, and I wan't you to tell me...EVERYTHING." Damien grabbed David by the shirt collar and stared into his eyes.
"I'm a friend of Kai, is that really wise?" He mustered out. "Hes asleep right now...maybe your screams might wake him up...but until then." Damien reached into his pocket and slammed a deck of cards onto the table. "Let's play a game..."
"Oh man..you and your card tricks, what do you want? Anything but that.""I want information, why is the bounty for this quest so low?!" Damien let go of David and picked up a card out of the deck, it was an Ace...and Ace of spades, one of the few cards that Damien had that wasn't completely blank. He slyly placed the card on the bar so David wouldn't see it.
"Oh, that...well you se-" He was cut off mid-sentence by an angered Damien.
"CUT THE CRAP, I want you to tell it to flat out...take a shortcut, but make full of life." Damien scowled at David.
"Right, hes like you...except perhaps even less sane. A memory make wizard that looks for people who steal spells from, he contacted me to have wizards foolish enough to fight him come towards him...the location on that quest is a lie, it's a trap...if you want to see him go to the middle of town, by the well...The reason for the bounty being so low? Ah well once you see what he has on him you will realize why it's so low. Now get out of here before I tell Kai!""Whatever..." Damien shrugged and stood up. He placed his left index finger and middle finger to his temple then walked outside. He swiftly turned around and snapped his fingers, causing a white light to shoot out from the tavern. "Memory-Make...Forgetfulness....Now where is that well?"
