Damien had been walking for good half an hour, never had he recalled a well in town, and trust me he had a good enough memory to remember a well in a town made out of wells. He eventually made his way to the town square and looked around. His eyes surveyed the area once again, looking out for anything interesting and that was when he finally noticed it, he had been walking in circles for the past half an hour, no matter how straight he went he would always wind up at the town square. "Perhaps was it...no, that's impossible." He mumbled some curse words under hsi rbeath and ran up to a civilian and attempted asking them a regular question. No answer, not even a single response. It was concealment magic, or perhaps illusion magic.

Damien hadn't known when or how it happened, but that was the least of his worries, he could stay like this forever, technically trapped in an alternate world, or so it seemed like due to the lack of communication with anyone. He decided it was best to wait for the mysterious mage, he sat on the ground in the middle of town, completely ignored by the rest of the world...except the one mage. His weary yet tired eyes quickly began to slowly close, putting Damien into a deep sleep.

After an unknown amount of time something cut Damien's face, or just slit it...perhaps it was a leaf. Damien pressed his hand up to his cheek and felt a warm liquid oozing out...Now aware that the mage decided to show his face Damien withdrew his deck of cards and held them tightly. "So...rogue mage, how is life?" Damien said, referring to a presence he had felt behind him.

Clap...clap...clap "Hah, never seen you around here..." Said the mafe in a cocky manner.


"Good...that means a few things...I can end you faster and I can turn this quest in asap." Damien quickly drew a card from his deck and turned around and threw the card at the mage at a high speed. The mage was about as tall as Damien he had yellow hair and was wearing jeans and a hoodie. The mage attempted to move out of the way of the card but he was too slow...and the card moved with him. The card sliced him directly in the cheek before dissolving into ash.

"A cheek for a cheek?" Damien asked in a light tone, almost jokingly.

"Hm, haven't heard that before..." The mage was stalling, his fingers were already on his temples which mean't only one thing, he was preparing a spell.

Damien ran in with cards in-between his finger as if they were throwing knives. "You can only forget moves you know...and trust me you haven't met me!" Damien hit the mage directly in the gut with his kneecap, sending him sprawling into the air. He proceeded to attack the mage by throwing the cards up into the air, he tilted his head slightly upwards to ensure every single one hit. With one simple gesture he ended the battle *snap*

Four to five explosions could be heard directly behind Damien and seemingly everyone looked around at Damien with an odd look on their face, some even looked away and covered their children's eyes. He swiftly turned around by spinning on the back of his ankle and looked at what should be a body but was only a card lying face down on the floor. "Perhaps it already happened?" Damien said as he picked up the card. He flipped it over and was astonished at what he saw, it was not the man's face plastered onto a card but instead a whole new deck of cards. It wasn't a memory however as he couldn't activate it with his memory magic. Perhaps it was a literal object? Regardless the quest was over, hopefully.
