As Darrin was sitting upon the couch with Zooey, watching the movie with the kids, Darrin thought about when they'd been outside. "I could take the kids out that day, if you'd like. So you four can be alone." Zooey had said to him after she'd found out that he was wanting to invite the guys over. Darrin had only smiled at the woman. "You could maybe just take them out for ice cream? At least by the time that you got home everything should be calming down." Darrin said. He smiled at Zooey. Afterwards, Darrin had told Zooey his plans for the day. "I wore you out? You're the one who made me walk like, a billion miles." It would explain why I woke up with you on top of me though." Zooey said. Darrin was eyeing her, smiling even after the comment. "If you're not careful, it could happen again." Darrin said, looking down.

Thinking, Darrin looked down to his phone again. Another message from Damion. They were coming the next day, first thing in the morning. He actually wasn't nervous at all about seeing his former friends. In fact, he was almost excited. He'd not realized how much he'd missed them. Suddenly, a thought struck him. The rehearsal room was a mess. He probably should clean it up. He didn't want anyone to realize what he was doing, though. He thought for a moment. What would be a good way to keep everyone preoccupied? He smiled. "It's such a nice day, why don't you all take play outside?" Darrin asked the children. Zaira's eyes immediately brightened. "Yes! Come on Zeke!" the little girl was already up and tugging on her brother. Darrin knew that Zooey would probably suspect something. He cared, but needed them out of the house. Darrin looked to his mother. She only smiled at him, as if she knew what he was up to. "Zooey, come on. We'd better join them." Judith said rising and then walking outside. Darrin waited until everyone was out of the house before getting up from the couch. He quickly made his way back to the third floor.

As he entered the room, it was a mess from the night before. He quickly began gathering the papers and putting them back into the trunk. He then searched the room for the cleaners for all of the instruments. Darrin took his time, being quite meticulous in the cleaning. He spent a long time upstairs. When he'd stopped hearing the children's cries of joy from outside, he'd locked himself in the room. He spent most of the day upstairs, making sure that the instruments were shining and clean. Around six o'clock, Darrin finally deemed himself done. He sat down on the couch for a moment, to rest.

Judith had spent most of the day with Zooey and her grandchildren. After Zooey had taken a break from playing, Judith had asked her to sit with her on the large porch. "Is everything all right now? You two seemed much happier after coming inside this morning." she said, smiling. Zaira was running after Zeke, trying to catch him. She was laughing. She was so happy that her Daddy and Zooey seemed to be getting along. She hoped that Zooey would stick around.

Around five thirty, Judith had gone inside to fix supper for them before she left. As she was leaving, Judith hugged Zooey. "I'll see you all in the morning, unless you don't need me. It'll be a house full if the guys come over. You'll love them all. They're all really sweet. I just hope that they aren't too hard on Darrin."she said, looking a bit concerned.
