Darrin had been sleeping heavily when all of a sudden he heard, "Daddy! Daddy!" Darrin quickly came to, seeing his son's smiling face. He smiled tiredly at the young boy. "Why good morning." he said to Zeke, reaching over for his phone. It was nine. He was waking up quickly and said, "We should probably go and wake your sister up and then Zooey." He smiled. Darrin sat up and ruffled Zeke's hair, laughing. He took off running towards the children's room, knowing that Zeke would follow. He instructed Zeke to pounce on Zaira. He waited until he had, before picking up the little girl. Zaira snuggled into Darrin's arms. Darrin quietly told her the plan. Sitting her down, the three Reed's quietly tip-toed towards Zooey's room. Darrin motioned towards the children to be quiet. He slowly opened the bedroom door. He entered and waited for the children to follow him. He followed closely behind the two small children, and soon, the two little one's were on the left side of the bed and Darrin was on the right. Darrin held up one of his hands, counting to three. The children pounced upon the bed, Zaira screaming and laughing. "Zoe, Zoe! Wake up! Daddy says it's time to get up!" she cried, looking up at her father. Darrin gently sat down on the edge of the bed, not wanting to show too much affection with the children in the room. It killed him that he could just lay with her.

The children were laughing because they'd been able to sneak up on Zooey. Darrin was smiling brightly, not seeming to care that he was still in his pjs. Zaira quickly turned to Zeke, "Come on! I'll beat you downstairs! Then I get to pick the cartoons!" With that, the little girl was off the bed and flying out of the room and downstairs, trying to beat her brother. After the children were gone, Darrin gently slid to lay down with the woman for a few moments. He wrapped an arm over Zooey's middle, pulling her closer to him and rested his head near Zooey's. "Did you sleep good?" he asked, smiling gently at the woman. He knew that they would have to get up within the next couple of minutes. The television would only occupy the children for so long before they wanted breakfast. Darrin gently kissed Zooey's soft cheek and then snuggled a bit closer to her. "If you are wanting to avoid the guys this morning you'll probably want to leave soon. Otherwise you'll never get gone." He said laughing. "Of course, now you're going to have to convince me to more. I'm comfy." he said, smiling at Zooey.
