Xander's eyes widened and sat up. Irritating the headache that formed. He looked around his dark room and felt like an ass. "Are you serious?" He said angerily. It wasn't toward her, the anger was to himself. He never wanted to be that guy. Sure, girls would were loose didn't deserve this sort of respect but a girl like Gabby, those who were strong, They deserved more. He already respected her. "It should have been special, not some spur of the moment thing," He said. He didn't know where all this was coming from but it didn't matter. "I am truly sorry, Gabrielle." He said, he only assumed that was her full name but it felt right as it left his lips.

"We'll be together forever." Johnathan said and Analise could have died right then, she wrapped her arms around him and hugged him tight. Maybe he did love her. Saying forever to a vampire was a big deal but she wouldn't speak on that detail. Then before her mind had time to stop her, the words. "I think I love you, Johnathan." flew from her lips. It was all much too soon, she knew that but she couldn't help it. She felt so strongly about him. The one man in the world who accepted her for who she was. How could she not? Not only that he was pretty good in bed too. She looked at him, she didn't expect him to say it back and if he didn't. She would understand.
