As you sit on your throne and make this country what you wish it to be, I can take my sword and kill the Magistrates. I can give all power to you and you alone, so that you can make your own decisions and not be subject to the decisions made for you."

He was giving her everything. Even if he took into account the possibility that this was what she wanted, that she had been manipulating him into suggesting these very actions, he did not care. He would remain loyal.

"Request a meeting with them, my Queen. A locked room for secrecy. Allow them to bring bodyguards, if they wish, for then I will not be out of place there. When the meeting starts, you will listen to them and speak to them. You will not touch the drinks, or the food, and weapons will be strictly disallowed in the meeting chambers. As you stall them, I will kill their bodyguards, then I will enter the room and kill them also."

He looked around, to make sure that they were not being overheard. "Then, we reveal the truth of their manipulation and threats. You will not be seen as weak, for you took action against them and they paid for their treachery. You will not lose face and you will remain a Goddess, holding TRUE power. Unless, of course, you are so set on eloping. I will follow you, whatever your decision."
