' I thought she liked me at least a little...guess i was wrong...she could never like me, i was stupid to think she would...' Nightfur's ears perked up, barely hearing Kioni's words. What? Nightfur knew it wasn't nothing, so she just pretended she didn't hear it, and meekly clambered down the tree. "Sorry Kioni, I overreacted.." She shuffled her feet, and felt a cold wind, so got into the hole with Kioni, making sure to give him some space after their awkward situation. "You don't have to be sorry for anything really. You saved me from that badger remember? I would eventually have been injured somehow if you didn't come along." She smiled awkwardly. "Well, on with the adventure?" She chuckled and batted his nose a little, making sure not to hurt him again.
