Reese was rushed into the emergency room. Davis was forced to stay behind and wait for what seemed like eternity for the doctor to tell him the news.

After a long while, The Doctor came out. "How is she?" Davis asked in a panic. "She has a few broken ribs, a fracture in her left arm and her hip was dislocated, and scraps from where she must have slide on the street." Davis wanted to die. The doctor could see the panic in his face. "However, These are easy fixes, the most difficult will be the ribs but she's going into surgery now and if all goes well she'll make a full recovery." He said and Davis nodded, still anxious. Reese was always tougher then she looked. What he didn't understand is why would a girl, raised in New York, where the cross walk was your friend, run out into the middle of the street like that? It wasn't like her. Then in struck him. "Dammit Reese..." He groaned, running his hand over his face. She was high. She had to be.

Melina sat in her condo. Her mind still reeling from the conversation with Sickboy. She didn't know what to do about it. She wasn't afraid of his threats, she was actually more afraid of Losing Oz if he found out that she knew and didn't tell him.

Well, What did that mean?

She must have feelings for him, right? Isn't that what that meant?

She cared about Oz. She did. Alot, more then she first thought.

The buzz from the intercom scared her out of her thoughts. She got up and answered. "Yes?"
"Hey it's me...told you I'd come back."
Melina smiled. "Good, I'm glad come on up." She said almost happily.

She greeted him at the door after he knocked. She gave him a lingering kiss, almost loving like a wife might a husband returning from work. Not the kiss of a fuck buddy.

He could probably tell something was on her mind but she didn't know where to start.
