"Running diagnostics," Aurora said. A holographic panel of medical sensors flickered into life. A blue light washed over Tugark and Glixenheimer. A line showed the pace of Lady Samsara's heart beat. It was elevated but not in life threatening levels.
Foreign symbols read out on a screen. Aurora pressed a holographic button at the edge of another screen. A blue light washed over Lady Samsara's body from head to toe. Another screen popped up that showed a scan of her brain. Lights showed the activity in her brain and in which portion.
Lady Samsara's dream state and memory banks were radiating with incredible activity. There were hundreds of lights blinking in that sector of her mind.
A copy of Lady Samsara's body was projected over the real woman. It showed every detail of her internal body. There was scar tissue around her throat, surrounding an artery. It was inflamed and squeezing blood flow almost to a stop.
Aurora touched another see-through panel.
More light constructs flared to life right in front of their eyes. These were medical tools. If Glixenheimer reached out to touch one, his hand would travel right through the machines.
Aurora slid her arms into a pair of holographic gloves. The machines mimicked every move of her hands. She began to perform surgery on Lady Samsara, using the woman's projection for reference.
