Clara looked at the academy as it loomed over her and her brother as they stood in front of it, gazing up. She slung her bag over her shoulder and stepped into the building. Her hand was holding a scrap of paper with her room number scribbled in it. This was a very exciting thing for the both of them. Having to live with powers, hiding them from everyone was hard. Nathan was the only one she could trust and relate to, and now there were more people like them. To be honest, she was also really nervous, and she could tell Nathan noticed. The both found a staircase, and alighted the steps one by one, and ended up in a long hallway. Turning to her brother, she shrugged a little. "I guess I'll go find my room, we can meet up later?" She flashed him a reassuring smile before taking off down the hallway.
"LB75, LB75..." she mumbled as her eyes darted to each room number. Clara finally found her room and opened the door, walking in. There were two beds in there, and one already seemed to be occupied, though she wasn't here. Dropping her bag down on the other bed, she left the room to explore the academy. Trailing back downstairs, she mentally noted that she should find her brother in a couple minutes. She found it odd that she hadn't seen anyone around yet.
Nathan paid the cab fair as his sister got out, staring up at the academy. He turned as the cab left, standing next to Clara. "Wow, it's so... big." Big seemed like a pathetic word to describe the beautiful building. His sister nodded in agreement as they both stepped inside. He clutched a small paper identical to Clara, save for the room number written on it. After they went upstairs, he looked at his sister closely. She looked anxious, and he was feeling the same. They climbed up a staircase, his hand sliding along the smooth wooden banister. At the top, they reached a hallway. "I guess I'll go find my room, we can meet up later?" As she smiled at him, he slowly nodded and smiled back. "Alright, I'll see you later... Be careful!" he called out after her.
He found his room rather quickly, it was two doors down from where he was standing. SF04. He put his bag down on his bed, glancing at the other one, seeing it was occupied. He wondered who his roomate was for a brief moment. He sat down on this bed, looking for a moment of peace before he got up again and went downstairs. He didn't see his sister around, so he decided to explore the academy. It was quite confusing with all the hallways and doors and rooms. He found his way to a large room with walls lined with books. There were some cozy leather chairs and tables lying around. He went to a far shelf, running his hands over the countless volumes.
