There was another saying though, that the destination is not what matters, but it is the journey. The destination currently was clouded over that she didn't know exactly where she was going, but while she was on their road to who knows where, Vampire De La Torre provided some peace from the outside world and she had a chance to be normal, whatever that was. It was just hard at the moment, but if people were as kind as Deriz then she had nothing to worry about in this safe haven. Maybe the best way to move forward is just focus on what was infront of her and ignore everything else, as she thought more about the mysteries this castle academy held which Deriz was in agreement with, "Yes, i'm sure we are going to have a few surprises here and there. I would be that shocked if we didn't", as she smiled in response.
It was then that Ally walked upto them, no doubt checking up to see if everyone was doing alright and that everyone was settling in well. Afterall, she had quite a bit on her plate like her brother, afterall, they had the running of the academy to keep in order, making sure everyone was doing okay and ontop of that, no doubt their own studies to keep up with. When you had support like Ally had with Maxwell, you could truly take on anything, so she certainly admired Ally in that sense, though it must be strange living here from what Maxwell said since he had met each of them before today, all individually which she took advantage of to ask about him. She thought her parents were being cruel to move on without grieving, yet there were times with her parents she wouldn't trade, for Maxwell and Ally, they didn't even have any.
"Did you two find your toom to your liking?", she asked as she looked to them both, as Deriz turned to her, "Yes, i find my room to my liking very well, thank you", in which Lilly added with a smile of her own, "I agree, truly wonderful, thank you, and LOVE the mirror", her smile widening, remembering the times she stood infront of the mirror with her brother behind her. Here she goes again, as she silently scolded herself, before adding, "Thanks for asking, though while your here, I wonder if you can tell me where the food hall is, not that I'm hungry now but just checking", regaining her smile again after dropping it slightly as she compared things with her brother again, "and once things settle down, we should totally get together" as her female companion of course, though she'd most likely be busy now.
Course, she could not forget about Deriz, so once Ally had left (OOC: Assuming she wouldn't hang around for long), she turned to him, "Truth is I am a little parched", she admitted with a thin smile, suggesting she needed a drink which would give them both a chance and sit down rather than standing in the corridor where others will begin to pass and right now she didn't fancy slipping up with her mistakes infront of a crowd. Deriz seemed kind enough.
