Lilly certainly wasn't lying when she expressed how amazing he was, as he truly was. How many guys does a girl actually meet who will actually respect you wholeheartfully, listen to what you're saying and being respectful and kind all the time, not stepping a toe out of line at all. How many guys were actually quiet thinking about it, as she noticed a few guys come in and all they were doing was talking as they grabbed something to eat before going back out again. If Deriz was the stereotypical guy, she probably would of walked away and find someone else, but failing that, she'd simply be in her room, but now she felt she had found a friend which certainly made her happy. Comparing him to her other friends, she'd rate him pretty highly, especially since he was there for her which was what she appreciated as he only agreed to get something to drink once she suggested it, would he have gone otherwise? probably not.
Speaking about her old school which she shared with humans, there was certainly alot of drama and alot of fighting from time to time, especially when it came to the guys. It seemed like a whole different place here, if that made any sense at all, but as long as it made sense to her that was what mattered, though her curiosity grew around Deriz as she waited for a response, taking more sips of her strawberry milkshake as she waited and while he spoke. "Well, i knew it was going to be very different than where i was going to. I honestly thought it was going to be a little more dark as in the colors and the decorations and what not. But its really, actually pretty nice", he explained which she agreed with. Lilly wasn't sure what to expect, especially having her room as she was thinking she'd be bunking with someone probably who she hoped wasn't a jerk like her arranged fiancee. She kinda wished he was here too, sure he'd be the pain he was, but then she could be a pain to him so he refuses.
Lilly was certainly capable of being mischievous when she wanted to be, but there was no need to be mischievous round a sweet guy like Deriz, as he was pretty sweet if she was being totally honest with herself, as it wasn't like he had a gun on his head demanding him to be polite. Lost in thought, she caught the words about "if we are off the hook the first day" and then Deriz spoke about how he felt he would of wanted to come to this school if he wasn't, as well as confiding in her how he felt like turning back but didn't, before looking to her with a smile. Well, she certainly was glad he had come to Vampire De La Torre or she wouldn't be in the good company she was in now as she returned his smile before she offered to take her drink to the trash. Lilly was quite capable of taking the cup to the trash herself, but she appreciated the sediment and only proved to highlight more of Deriz's gentle nature, which made her wonder about what he was like before coming here and if like her she had been to a human school and what he was like there.
"What do you think the consequences are if you're late to class...?", he then asked as Lilly thought about it before thinking outloud, "Well I am sure it won't be as easy as the consequences they give in the human schools. I would think the withdrawl of food but that would only drive the person crazy, so I'm thinking isolation maybe, though not really sure to be honest, though I don't think it is anything to worry about as I'm not certainly planning on finding out....but from what you said before, I'm certainly glad you came here or I would be on my own right now or making a fool of myself....friends?", as she offered her hand towards his while her other hand held her cup as drunk more of the contents which were getting low since the sweet taste certainly affected her tastebuds so she drunk more, before then asking, "So where you from then? and did you go to a human school too before here, or..?", drifting her voice as she invited him to speak.
