It seemed like she was dreaming all this, or at least this was what half of her was saying, that all this was make-belief and how everything good was too good to be true. The sad part of that is that her other half was thinking this was all too good, not believing being happy is part of her life after losing her brother, someone she truly cherished, how can she ever regain such happy memories and why would she be given all this to make even more happy memories when fate already seemed to be against her. When she heard of her brothers' death, she kept beating herself up mentally of what she could of done to change it, what could she of done to save him so that he could still be with her. What made her angrier was how it seemed no love was lost from their parents, so she was certainly glad to be out.
If she wasn't here, she would either be with her parents or with her arranged fiancee who she hated. Hate was a strong word but she truly meant it with how selfish the guy was, he had no love or care at all that he mightswell be a robot, he angered her even more so than her parents angered her. What he parents should be doing was comforting her instead of marrying her off to a psycho all because he was rich, rich in money not love. Oh what her life had become, and here she was opposing what seemed to be her fate, yet first she had to settle in and then it was the case of seeing what other guys felt about her since she didn't feel it right to ask guys out. Afterall she was hear to see if any guys would fall in love with her to save her from her predicament with the bonus of passing her classes, but if it wasn't to be then it wasn't to be.
"Well, now that we have covered everything, would you like to do something. It's late but maybe we could be something", Deriz suggested to her, as she thought about what they could do, when she saw Deriz look down from the stair rail. "It's not late....we got plenty of time", she said mischievously, regardless of the journey getting here but she certainly weren't planning on sleep just yet though she would have to sleep earlier than normal and she also needed adjustment time to be able to sleep at night like normal vampires, being so used to sleeping at the same time as humans or thereabouts.
Lilly walked in the opposite direction, past the classrooms they checked out before opening the window at the end, before calling, "How about we take flight?", raising her voice a bit more to make sure Deriz heard. It certainly was fun to fly, and since they were in a place where only vampires are, they didn't need to be transforming in their bat forms, so they could remain in their human forms and feel the wind brush over them. The thought made her smile, it would also make her more acceptable to going bed after a flight also, depending how fast they fly before tomorrow came....
