If it wasn't star-gazing on the roof, the next best thing for Lilly was flying. Oh how she loved to fly, how she loved to be free, where all our worries were worries no more. It was why she opened the window to check what the air was like, as she now felt the cool air come in to already sooth her. Just like back in the human world where they check the weather before they put the washing out, well the same applied to flying because if the wind was too rough then flying was no longer an option. Thankfully flying remained an option and she certainly was looking forward to it.
It was one thing to fly solo which in itself was soothing, but to fly with someone else was just amazing, so when she saw Deriz smiled, she was glad that she had him for company. "Alright, lets fly", as he then jumped off the rail. "Hey! Wait up!", she exclaimed as she ran down the hall, continuing her pace as she used her hands to hold onto the rail for the rest of her body to swing over, before letting go. To do this back in the human schools, would of caused all the students' faces to see it and start worrying that she was trying to kill herself but of course, she wasn't worried at all, even if she was falling but it beat floating as Deriz seemed to have done as he just landed and was heading for the door.
With the distance to the ground floor closing in, she then pulled herself up before gently dropping herself down till her feet touched the floor before rushing after Deriz and slipping through the gap in the door that Deriz left so that they were now both outside. Lilly felt the air come down and cuddle her, as if prodding her to fly anyhow, such caused her to look up and noticed she left the window open on that top floor. Whoops! as she covered her mouth which Deriz probably missed since his mind was occupied, "Good night for flying, not too hot, but not too cold", such that she agreed with, before seeing him approach a rock which he used as a platform to lift him up into the sky.
Her smile widened as she watched him fly. The back of her mind reminding her of the times she watched her brother fly, before coming down and lifting her up from the ground with the tips of his gentle fingers that caused Lilly to let him do all the work as he lifted her into the air until they were higher than the tallest building they could see when Lilly decided to take over herself. However right now, she was excited about flying in general that such a memory did not come as she ran to the rock and jumped into the air with the same speed, before twirling in the air upto where Deriz was and laughed along with him. You couldn't go wrong with flying.
However, it did concern her when Deriz was silent. He couldn't be bored with flying already as they had hardly been in the air that long so she appeared behind him, "HEY!", to see if she could scare him as her arms wrapped around the top half of his chest while her head looked over his shoulder with the rest of her body just flowing like a dress, "What's up?", she asked with a wide smile, before looking around herself and saw what she believed he saw too which caused her smile to straighten as she let go off him and flew to his side, putting a hand on his shoulder so that she herself felt safe. She didn't believe they could see them from here but never know, as Lilly then said at almost an whisper, "What do we do?". It wasn't like they couldn't beat them but then she recalled a time with bullies at school when her brother told her to stay as he dealt with it, "Your not going down there are you? because if you are, I'm coming with you and there is nothing you can say that will change my mind", making her position clear.
