Kaido gave a pleased smirk, his finger delicately testing the tension on the trip wires leading to the multitude of traps he had recently armed. His segment of the warehouse was more than living or training space, it was an operating room and research space. He was keen on keeping his secrets heavily guarded so that if anything were to go wrong he would be able to destroy the evidence of his research in a moments notice. After all it would be poor publicity to have his dead soul cadavers brought to the light of day.
With a content sigh he straightened his back, stretching his arms above his head with a well earned yawn. βI suppose itβs time to acquaint myself with the locals.β He mutters to himself as he dawns his robes. He was cautious to not be seen entering or leaving the warehouse, choosing to take back alleys out into the main streets.
He wore a friendly demeanor, giving a smile or kind nod to those he passed on the streets. His long pipe hung from his lips as he strode, a sweet smelling mixture cascading from the bowl. His home acclaimed villages umbrella kept over his head shielding him from the daily rain of this place.
βI wonder where a man could get a decent drink around here.β he says with a light hearted chuckle glancing down the sides of street. He starts heading to the more commercial segment of town. Despite his relaxed demeanor he was acquiring information and as always looking for potential research subjects.
