Mai tilted her head to the side slightly at Ryuka's words, "You just felt like it?..." She reached back and rubbed the back of her neck, That's a little worrisome but... I guess it isn't too unusual considering the Prez' personality. "Well if there's something that's really bothering ya that much all ya have to do is ask and I'll do what I can." A warm smile radiated from her face as she placed her hands on her hips before glancing over at the clock in the room, Ack... Homeroom is coming up soon.
Her expression soured as Ryuka insulted herself, "Hey now, you shouldn't call yourself an idiot, you've gotta be pretty amazing to be the student council president at this school if you ask me. But uh... I wasn't too far away, was just headed to homeroom but I could hear you quite clearly, you've got quite the voice ya know?" She chuckled a bit and glanced at the clock once more. "I wouldn't be surprised if you heard people talking about it later on today, but hey, it's almost time for class so I'm headed out." She jogged towards the door before disappearing from her view with a wave, "Have a good one Prez!"
Though she probably could've made it to class on time just walking she continued to jog, running was something she enjoyed and getting some blood pumping would certainly help wake her up. Well, least I can't say today was boring. With a small a smirk she opened the door to class 2-A, giving a wave to a few of the students who had already arrived and making way towards her desk. She liked the placement of her desk, sort of towards the middle but right next to the window. It offered her a perfect vista for daydreaming and even a bit of extra warmth from the sunshine. It always made her feel comfortable, as if the sun was watching over her.
Feeling slightly embarrassed by such thoughts a small smile formed on her face as she took her seat, the sunlight reflecting off of her orange hair in a soft glow. With her chin resting in the palm of her hand and her elbow planted on the desk she gazed out the window, I think today's gonna be a good one.
