Danielle narrowed her eyes at Nick. What an inconsiderate jerk. She was about to go check on Gracelyn, but Jayden was already on it. Instead, she turned to Nick and took a deep breath. Maybe I should just talk to Nick in a calm tone and help him understand what he has done.
"Nick," she began calmly, "Maybe you should think about what you are going to say before you actually say it. You know that every single one of us have a different story about our lives before we were adopted. Some contain bits and pieces that we do not want to remember."
