"I'm so sorry ma'm. That was completely my fault, I wasn't paying attention," Kaya apologized as she grabbed her back and notebook from the floor. She glared at Jayce. She wanted nothing more than to call him out on his ability and how he probably forced someone to give him a teaching degree, but she didn't want to say anything in front of the woman. Granted she probably wouldn't have known what they were talking about, but Kaya wasn't particularly trusting. Of anyone. Heck, she hadn't even told her father about what was happening to her and he was practically her best friend.
In any case, she was still glaring at Jayce and silently seething at his proclamation that she was stupid. She was about to snap at him before she noticed Dr. Neurus. Completely ignoring Jayce and the woman, Kaya ventured off in his direction, hoping to get a chance to speak with him before she had to leave.
