Tonerre walked calmly up to the front steps of the mansion, bag slung over his right shoulder. He gazed upwards as he walked, watching the bell tower be slowly eclipsed as he approached the front steps. His eyes flicked back down to the steps in front of him as a smile crept onto his face, his left hand unconsciously gripping the case he held tighter.
He paused with his right hand ready to knock, breathing out a sigh and collecting himself, before returning to motion and striking the door. "Hello, I hope I am not too late today?" He called out tentatively. Doubt suddenly piercing him as he waited. Maybe he had heard wrong, maybe they had not reopened the place. Would an intimidating man servant appear to usher him on? Would they just laugh at his request?
