Running that was all Valko could do, his own father had betrayed him, cast him aside without a second thought... no that was not true, even Valko could not deny the flash of pain he'd seen in Tarolf's eyes as he banished Valko; despite that Valko still disagreed with his father's disregard of the Human's and their actions against their kind. Paws padding against the ground, head low his blue eyes fixed on the horizon. Veering around towns he approached to avoid detection and he refused to stop, pushing himself harder and harder. Slowly the distance between towns grew further, until they grew smaller and eventually he only came across the occasional village or hamlet. Fresh green fields darkened and the air chilled until Valko found himself slowly to a stop a top a small hill; looking out he could see the trees thickening before him, mountains standing in the distance and a snow filtered down in the distance. A different world beyond, forests and nature stretched out, no Humans in sight. The perfect world for him.

Throwing himself into a run again Valko weaved his way through trees and over streams, following a small dirt path towards the mountains before him until he found his way to the pass through the mountains, winding rocky paths that were not fit for Humans to travel up. The strong white wolf leapt up the paths, following and climbing his way up over the pass; by the time he reached the the other side Valko was panting with exertion and his muscles were taught. He'd been running for days now and it was starting to catch up with his body at last but the view that greeted him was amazing, mountain seemed to circle around a great forest, tree thick and covered the lands only small clearings seemed visible with rivers cutting their way through. No thick black jets of poisonous smoke or destructive Human's tearing things apart. Snow covered the grounds and the cold bristled through his fur.

After working his way down the mountain side Valko walked through the dense trees, his paws crunched in the snow softly as he took in a deep breath, the scents in the air new and crisp to him, fresh and natural. The large white wolf walked until he came across a slow flowing river, stopping he stared down into the crystal blue waters that reflected back the image of a large wolf, white fur tainted with dried blood, he had yet to wash since he'd fled, sapphire eyes staring at himself. He was alone now, now that he had stopped running it really struck him, the weight of what had happened. Wolves were pack animals and a Djöfull Úlfur needed a pack around them, those that were banished and wandered alone often slowly went insane until they became either rabid and wild and needed to be put down, or they went so crazy with loneliness they sought their own death, if they didn't change their ways and beg their pack to take them back. Valko was unsure which way he was going to go. Lapping at the water Valko drank up thirstily, as soon as he felt sated he lifted himself up, rolling himself in the snow he rubbed the blood stains off his fur. Lying on the ground his stomach grumbled, food had been far from his mind but now everything was starting to catch up with him, tiredness, hunger and the realisation that he was alone started to creep up on him.
